AISTS

AISTS Mission

The mission of AISTS, the International Academy of Sports Science and Technology (Académie Internationale des Sciences et Techniques du Sport) in Lausanne, Switzerland, is to bring a positive contribution to the management of sport through continuing and executive education and applied research, by developing, integrating and delivering knowledge from human sciences, life sciences and engineering sciences.

AISTS applies a multidisciplinary approach to postgraduate education, continuing professional education, and applied research in sport.

 

Founded in 2000 by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), IMD Business School, the University of Lausanne, the University of Geneva, the Swiss Graduate School of Public Administration (IDHEAP), Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), the City of Lausanne, and the Canton of Vaud, the academy forms a unique network of multi-field expertise.
