Registration is now OPEN for the "Sport Management Seminar for Women" to be held between the 1st and 4th September 2008.

The Sport Management Seminar for Women provides a unique opportunity to take part in a comprehensive education programme to help women reach higher positions in the sports world and to help men understand and identify the challenges faced by women while providing equal and fair career opportunities. This four-day educational programme aims to provide participants with a solid understanding of the key skills that are required to pursue a successful career in international sport. During the seminar, participants will work on case studies and participate in interactive workshops and lectures, as well as getting the opportunity to visit an International Federation and an International Sport Event. The organisers are jointly striving to create an educational programme that is pertinent, practical and adapted for women in the world of sport.

The Sport Management Seminar for Women targets

• Women seeking to pursue a successful career within the domain of sport
• Men within the domain of sport wanting to understand the issues and challenges faced by women in a male dominated work environment and how to provide equal and fair opportunities to all employees regardless of gender
