Under the Patronage of the IOC

The AISTS Sport Management Seminar for Women is a four-day education programme organised each year in Lausanne, Olympic Capital, Switzerland. It aims to provide women in sport management with a solid understanding of the key skills that are needed to pursue a successful career in international sport.

The fourth edition of the AISTS Sport Management Seminar for Women, held from the 1st to the 4th September, 2008 in Lausanne Switzerland. Last year, 80 participants representing 62 countries attended the seminar, coming mainly from National Olympic Committees, National and International Sport Federations. Once more Olympic Solidarity gave invaluable support by awarding 29 scholarships to participants coming from NOCs.  The allotment was as follows: 7 to African NOCs, 6 to American NOCs, 7 to Asian NOCs, 2 to Oceanian NOCs, and 7 to European NOCs.
