9 - 11 October Lausanne A unique platform designed to facilitate sharing of experiences, best practices and exchange of know-how between Olympic Cities was launched last week in Lausanne. Representatives from over 40 cities gathered in the Olympic capital, for the inaugural Lausanne Summit 2008 which also hosted the first general assembly for the World Union of Olympic Cities (UMVO).
