As a centre of sport education and research, the AISTS works to develop competencies in multiple sports related fields such as: sport academies, sport sustainability, sport governance and economy, sports technology with an emphasis on ICT (Information and Communication Technology), and sports events.

Since its foundation, the AISTS has provided continuing educational programmes in sports administration upholding the standards of the Swiss Label of Quality for education. Through well targeted seminars and in close partnership with famous universities and sport institutions, the AISTS offers relevant and valuable knowledge to sports professionals and sports managers to better deal with their challenging responsibilities.

Sport governing bodies, academic institutions, postgraduate students, sport marketing and consulting companies, athletes, teams and clubs are our most regular attendants.

SEMOS - SPORT EVENT MANAGEMENT AND ORGANISATION SEMINAR
SEMOS offers an overview of the key tasks that sports managers need to successfully plan, communicate and operate when organising sport events. SEMOS brings together leaders of International Sport Federations and other experts of the AISTS network, including the International Olympic Committee, to create a seminar that is both pertinent and practical, and recognises the increased expectations of the spectators, media, sponsors and television at major events.
