As a centre of sport education and research, the AISTS works to develop competencies in multiple sports related fields such as: sport academies, sport sustainability, sport governance and economy, sports technology with an emphasis on ICT (Information and Communication Technology), and sports events.

Since its foundation, the AISTS has provided continuing educational programmes in sports administration upholding the standards of the Swiss Label of Quality for education. Through well targeted seminars and in close partnership with famous universities and sport institutions, the AISTS offers relevant and valuable knowledge to sports professionals and sports managers to better deal with their challenging responsibilities.  

Sport governing bodies, academic institutions, postgraduate students, sport marketing and consulting companies, athletes, teams and clubs are our most regular attendants.

Upcoming Programme Highlights

SPORT MANAGEMENT SEMINAR FOR WOMEN
This 4-day education programme aims to provide women involved in sports management with a solid understanding of the expertise required to pursue a successful career in international sport business. The seminar includes relevant and detailed case studies, interactive workshops and lectures. It will be held 1 - 4 September, 2008 in Lausanne, Switzerland. The third edition was yet again a resounding succcess with 80 participants from 62 countries attending. Learn more...

SEMOS - SPORT EVENT MANAGEMENT AND ORGANISATION SEMINAR
Semos is targeted to International Federation managers and organisers of majors IF events: the single-sport World Championships, the World Cup and top international series-style events. This seminar offers an overview of the key tasks the managers of the Organising Committees need to successfully plan, communicate and operate, concluding with a very relevant detailed case study.
