The International Academy of Sports Science and Technology (AISTS) assumes its obligation to support the development and professionalisation of sport worldwide by granting a scholarship for one candidate for the 8^th edition of its internationally recognised Master of Advanced Studies in Sport Administration & Technology (MSA) in 2010.

The scholarship will be awarded at the discretion of the AISTS Executive Committee and will cover all course fees (CHF 20,000). Candidates will have to fulfil all requirements for selection into the MSA programme and will need to demonstrate financial need, as well as the capacity to support all expenses for housing, transportation and other additional cost of living in Lausanne (estimated at CHF 1,700 per month) and the cost of travel to Switzerland and back to the country of residence. The application deadline is 15 August 2009. Applications will be treated confidentially. The decision of the Executive Committee is final without the possibility to appeal.

To be considered for the scholarship the candidate has to fulfil the following application requirements:

• Successful application and selection for the MSA 2010, General MSA 2010 application requirements:
• Prior university degree from a recognised university
• Professional experience and sport experience
• High level of English (a GMAT test, or a language test by an approved institution for non-native English speakers is highly recommended. TOEFL min scores: 550 paper, 213 Computer, 80 Internet (min. 20 for each section), IELTS min score: 6.5
• High motivation to work in sport
• Supportive references

• Being in a situation of financial need (please fill out the “Demonstration of Financial Need” form)
• Submit proof of being able to support the cost of living in Lausanne (approx. CHF 1’700.- per month) and the cost of travel to Switzerland and back to country of residence.
