“There are no such things as strangers,
Over 230 people, from 18 International Federations, had fun during a wonderful, sunny afternoon SportNet 2009 will be a day to remember by the International Sports Family based in Lausanne and the Canton of Vaud. There were fun activities for all, a delicious BBQ and some fantastic entertainment to round off the day. A highlight was the Salsa dance class where over 100 people were seen trying out the various moves. The children enjoyed donkey rides, a jumping castle and various other activities allowing their parents some freedom to join in the other activities during the afternoon. The SportNet Organising Committee would like to express its gratitude to all the partners namely the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the Canton of Vaud, the City of Lausanne and the AISTS, as well as the MSA 2009 students who happily volunteered on the day. The date for the next edition of SportNet is still to be fixed, but we will notify the various federations in due course.
