AISTS Alumni Maria Peredo Silva attended last year’s SEMOS™. “The week was one of the most insightful and impactful of my year at AISTS,” she says. “It is extremely hands on and interactive and you get behind-the-scenes insights directly from major event organisers. Seeing first-hand how national federations and the IOC run their events is invaluable. As an ex-athlete, I never truly realised the complexity of an event and how so many aspects fit together like a puzzle. SEMOS™ taught us the practical skills to put that puzzle together and create highly successful and sustainable events.”
