AISTS Sports Quiz Night

We’re back. The AISTS Sports Quiz Night returns again this year to challenge all you sports geeks.  

Get your team of three together and register before Sunday 16 October. 
Remember, only a maximum of 20 teams get to compete.

This year is set to be epic.

Our friends at Royal Savoy are back, giving away a gift certificate to their swanky spa for the ultimate winners.

For the first time, we’re introducing another prize, the best team name, all thanks to our friends at La Nébuleuse.

And, Penceo will make sure you’re all well fueled with drinks and nibbles.

Rajan Thambehalli is an alumnus of the AISTS MAS in Sport Administration (2009). He is a freelance sports professional residing in Zürich, Switzerland. Professionally, he has managed event operations at Commonwealth Games, Arab games and Indian Premier League, along with many grass roots projects like development of course content for coaches in tennis, football, table tennis, cricket and badminton; researching biographies of athletes for London and Sochi Olympics. He also has a strong background and degree in Chemical engineering. 
As a keen observer of sporting trends, he has a penchant for sports history since childhood. Also adding to his interests since childhood is a strong sense of observation for details and memory which has led him to win many quiz contests on national and international platforms. Staying close to the quizzing roots, he founded a quiz club in Switzerland called 'Qwizzeria', which aims to promote learning through quizzes for people of all age groups. He maintains a website - in which he writes articles on sports. His hobbies include researching on sports and movies, collecting books on varied topics, following a fitness regime and cooking.
